No link, just heard it on the radio. Didn't sound like any other major players were involved. Lane sent down to the minors.

I don't mind Huff in Houston. Hopefully a change of scenery will help him out.

The Astros, poised to acquire a middle-of-the-order hitter they are seeking, are on the verge of acquiring infielder/outfielder Aubrey Huff from the Devil Rays, FOXSports.com has learned. A deal could be announced as soon as Wednesday.
The Devil Rays would acquire Double-A right-handed pitcher Mitch Talbot and Double-A shortstop Ben Zobrist in the deal.
Huff, 29, is earning just over $4.9 million this season. The Devil Rays will pay nearly half of the approximately $3.2 million remaining on Huff's contract. Huff is a free agent after this season.
The Astros, 11th in the NL in runs per-game, could use Huff at first base, third base, right field or left field.
After a slow start to the season, Huff is hitting .283 with 8 home runs and 28 RBI.

Woo-hoo! He'll love getting out of TB for sure. I like this news, being a new Huff owner.

Looks like it's a done deal
HOUSTON -- Houston acquired outfielder Aubrey Huff from Tampa Bay on Wednesday. The Devil Rays agreed to pay the Astros more than $1.6 million to offset Huff's contract.
The Devil Rays get two minor leaguers -- right-handed pitcher Mitch Talbot and infielder Ben Zobrist.
Houston also optioned outfielder Jason Lane to Triple-A Round Rock and designated minor league infielder Joe McEwing for assignment.
Huff hit .283 with eight home runs, 15 doubles and 28 RBI in 63 games this year for the Devil Rays.
He spent three weeks on the disabled list with a strained left knee -- returning in early May.
