So is Pelfry the consensus #1 pitching prospect yet to lose his rookie status?

there's a 3 headed monster:

Pelfrey
Bailey
Hughes

Yeah those are the top 3, though it's mostly a battle between Hughes/Bailey for the top spot. Both are very good, but I'd lean towards Bailey right now.

I am so tempted to ditch Mark Prior for Pelfrey. Of course, the last couple of times I've ditched pitchers for rookies, the rookies have choked (Hamels, Sowers).

Just used my #7 Waiver Wire on Pelfrey in my keeper league (keep 12). Dropped Kevin Millwood. I am on the edge of competing for money, but I figured that dropping Millwood wouldnt kill me. Now I have Kendrick, Milledge, and Pelfrey as my possible bottom 3 keepers. Which I wouldnt mind taking a chance on as long as Pelfrey shows me something in the majors. Here is the rest of my team just for anyone's curiosity.

C: Varitek
1B: Pujols
2B: Figgins
SS: Crosby
3B: Wright
IF: Mora
LF: Crawford
CF: Wells
RF: Huff
OF: Edmonds
Util: Beltre
Util: Jacobs
Bn: Hawpe
Bn: Kendrick
Bn: Milledge

SP: Halladay
SP: Oswalt
SP: Beurhle
SP: Clemens
RP: Benitez
RP: Chad Corderp
RP: Otsuka
P: Dempster
P: Lowry
Bn: Bartolo Colon
Bn: Penny
Bn: Byrd
Bn: Pelfrey
