Wladimier Balentien thoughts?

Is anyone particularly high on this Seattle OF prospect?
I heard of him and saw him for the 1st time in the Futures Game. It's a very small sample size, but the guy easily looked the part of a marketable star. Then I checked out his numbers online. 1k per every 3 at-bats! Appears like some scouts think he's turning the corner with his plate discipline by his increased walk rate this year. If that's the case, looks like he can shoot up the prospect ranks.

Question: Who makes for a better keeper for 2008 and beyond - Balentiein or Jose Tabata? The 17 year old is getting good press lately.

He is going to be one of those all or nothing sluggers in the future. But he will never be that good of a player, though he does have 30 HR pop in his bat (not sure if he will ever do it though). He still K's way to much and he isn't hitting for avg well at all in a hitters league.

Tabata makes a much better keeper, the kid has tons of potential and is prforming very well.

Tabata. It's not even close. Seriously.

EDIT: To elaborate, he has: solid contact rate, consistent doubles power with pop for homers, solid patience, and good baserunning, and this is his first full season.

Tabata, far and away. Blantien or whatever his name is is not really that great. Has a solid OF potential, but needs to drastically improve his contact rate before he can even be though of in the Bigs.

Tabata is a stud. He comps very well to an OF by the name of Ramirez, Manuel. (Obviously still a LONG way away)

Thanks for the responses. I took your inputs and crossed Balentien off my list.
I was all set to draft Tabata in my AL-only keeper league supplemental draft, but he was taken a few spots ahead of me by a Yanks fan. Go figure.
Instead I settled on Trevor Crowe. He joins my rookie crop of Delmon, B.Upton, A.Gordon, Adenhart, Niemann, and Maybin for 2007 and beyond.
