I am tied for my division (nonkeeper H2H 10team points league) - but the 3rd and 4th place teams are only 3 games behind and the other 1st place team has an easier schedule for the next month.

C: Jojima
1st: Ortiz
2nd: Roberts
3rd : Rolen
SS: Jeter
OF: Abreu
OF: Matthews Jr.
OF: Swisher
U: Fielder
Bn: J. Gomes, Cuddyer (Just added C. Floyd)

SP: Liriano, CZambrano, Mussina, F. Hernandez, Jer. Weaver, Lidge
Bn: Lee, Lilly, Miner Julio (SPs and RPs treated the same in this league)

The best OFs on WW are R. Winn, Tori Hunter, Juan Rivera, DRoberts and CFloyd

The best closers on WW are: the TB, Atlanta and KC closers (all 6 or 8 of them :-P )

One team is offering Dye, Beltran or M.Cabrera for trade, but I think he is looking for two players and not 1st or OFs

Thanks and WHIR>

I like Winn to have a big second half...last year's post All Star #s are off the charts. (.354 16hr 10sb). Matthews gets you avg. but nothing else, and I don't think he can even keep that up.

As far as the trade Cabrera is a stud, but what are you willing to give up? Rolen/Weaver? Cliff Lee should do well in the second half...And who knows Julio just may keep it going.

Also I would be leery of Weaver getting hit next go-round (possible sell-high IMO).

Good luck and thanks for the insight on my team.

i would look into a cabrerra trade as long as it didnt kill you

if/when matthews cools id add macdougal (expected to be activated as soon as this week)

doesnt look like you HAVE to do anything but always good to look into possibilities

swishers avg. has dropped drastically and he didnt have a very good june at all. gomes also was a nice surprise but has greatly cooled since. id try to trade swisher and gomes for more of a stud and i think someone would do that being that they have 38 hrs and over 85 rbis combined. as for the miguel cabrera stuff he is an absolute stud who you may want to pursue and be willing to give up decent talent for him.

I would sell high on swisher gomes(if you still can) and probably jered weaver and see what you can net in return.
