Best of all -- Alou pulled him after the seventh inning, after he threw exactly 100 pitches! That's a really short outing by Dusty standards, but it should keep him a little fresher for the rest of the season. :-)

Something like what Tosca did to Halladay after he was coming off three days rest the second time.

Haven't you heard? Dusty quit when the Cubs traded for Womack and Simon to revitalize the team for the playoff push.
