We've got an 8 player minor league system and the vast majority of mine are years away. This sucks because a rookie keeper only costs a last round pick, and so you can really get some benefit from minor league keepers.
I currently have 7 of the 8 filled.
IF: E. Aybar,
OF: Pence, C. Gonzalez, J. Bruce, C. Rasmus
P: Garza, Gallardo
I am hoping to get a minor leaguer (who has never played a game in the majors) who may come up this year, and hopefully have a job next year. Most of BAs top 100 are gone, as are most of the guys who were in the futures game.
Here are some of the guys who are available on the wire (league counts OPS not average):
Kouzmanoff, Bankston, M Montero, Arredondo, Brandon Erbe.
I'm leaning toward Bankston b/c it looks like he's a lock to get pulled up, while Kouz is old for his level, has Marte to compete with, and doesn't have much power (OPS counts instead of AVG)
Any ideas of other guys who may come up and get a shot this year that I haven't listed?
