Humberto Sanchez...

haven't seen anyone even comment on this guy... SP coming up through the Tigers Organization looks to be a MONSTER...10-4 record like a 1.87 era, 110 k's in 1 right around 100 innings (combined AA and AAA ball) oh and one stat that jumps out at me hes averaging less then 1 hit per inning...if an injury pops up in the tigers rotation keep an eye on this 6-6 250 pound giant cuz he will be good, imagine this rotation with him in it when Rogers leaves...take your pick, Bonderman, Robertson, Verlander, Miner, Maroth and Sanchez...needless to say the Tigers are set for quite some time

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

and Zumaya....

Tigers should trade Robertson now while his stock is up and plan on using Humberto next year as their #5.

the word on the street is that Humberto Sanchez is a lesser version of Zumaya, don't have a polished 3rd pitch and doesn't have as good control with his first 2. Also an injury risk, the guy is a big dude.

Zumaya at AAA Toledo last year

age: 20
44ip 30hits 2hr 56k 24bb 2.66/1.23

Sanchez in AAA this year

age: 23
37.2ip 32hits 2hr 31k 10bb 2.15/1.12

Not as dominant as Zumaya was last year
