I think you have a good team for a 12 team league. I wouldn't do anything drastic right away, but keep in mind that the fantasy playoffs come up pretty quick after the all star break. You have a lot of ground to make up. I would see if anyone would give you a top 3B for either Tejada or Young.

Your Team

Postby MetFan0507 » Mon Jul 10, 2006 3:44 pm

I think your team looks good, but there's some things to keep in mind for the 2nd half. You should expect Fredy Sanchez to have a drop off, unless you think he will hit over 350 for the rest of the year, Rocco Baldelli is a mess. My advice would be to possibly trade some of your younger pitchers like Olsen or Weaver and possibly get back a 3rd basemen or Of

Agreed with above poster...

Sell high on Weaver - his value is through the roof, and owners always want the hot young commodity

2nd and 3rd need upgrades...try to sell Castillo high, but I understand that will be a monumental task

Dye and Olsen also may be good sell high guys depending on what you can get in return...good luck

What return could you get if you packaged Rogers and one of your shortstops, and even Freddy Sanchez? If you could get back a top tier 3B like Rolen and another good OF that would help you.

Looks good, but playing Sanchez @ 3B... seems like you could do better. Obviously, you're SET @ SS. I would move Sanchez to 2B (assuming you believe in him) and try to trade for a stellar 3B.

Help me over here?
