Help me take over 1st for good!

Looks like a good middle of the road team. Pitching is good, could use another "Good" SP, and RPs are decent.

Your bats might be a little weak. Never trusted Burell (Yes I have been burned), but Utley is trying to come out of his slump. And Ensberg should come around

I think you need a #1 Sp and that is about it. I hink Ensberg will be fine. I have never liked Kearns so maybe you could package him up with Bedard to get an ace and stick Jones in the OF spot for now and wait until something else comes along.

Could use a boost at Util... I'm not a big Overbay fan. I never carry two catchers, so I'd dump one of them too.

Of the WW guys - I'd grab Granderson and Zumaya in a heartbeat.

I like your starters a lot, though you could use one more closer depending on where you stand... recommend going out and getting Guardado - if Zumaya is available, then Eddie must be too.

To those wanting me to get a RP, I just want to make sure that you checked out my league info. There are 8 pitching cats, so saves are a little undervalued. To tell you the truth, I was thinking of punting saves.

And, if Burrell, Utley and Ensberg all perform like they should after the ASB, do I still have weak bats?

definitely grab Granderson and drop Kearns...Pitching looks fine, especially with Gagne going out for the season, i like Saito(sp?) alot. good luck

I think overall you are strong in both offense and pitching. I think you are weak in average. I would trade Ensberg and Burrell for a better average 3B and maybe a great OF like Holliday? I think you could trade a catcher too, as someone must have nothing there cause of the two you have. I think losing an RP wouldn't hurt you much if you package it with a guy like Garcia to get a better SP.

thanks for the reply. i would drop kearns and pick up granderson. i would also try to trade pudge or ramon as you don't need to carry two catchers. i might also look to package tracy and a sp for a better outfielder.

jedidave and others...thanks a lot for the advice so far. I appreciate it. I have been trying to trade pudge for weeks now, but nobody wants to make a move for him (even the guy that is starting Javy Lopez). These guys are fairly tight and seem content with catchers who are non-factors.
