They are working with Seth McClung in the minors who does throw hard but is wild.Anybody looking for cheap saves might want to take a look. Even if you only get a handful its better then nothing and could mean the difference in your league.
Hello 3 weeks ago. J/K... but this topic has been discussed alot in the closer thread over the past 3 weeks. And the pick up Brian Meadows advice is about 3 weeks too late.
I remember at the beginning of this year how Chad Orvella was predicted to be a decent closer this season. He struggled early and was optioned to AAA Durham. His numbers there:

TB fans, any chance he still has a shot?
I have no idea why he's not up yet. Seriously, Durham Bulls' bullpen looks better than the D Rays. Orvella, Salas, McClung, Ridgeway can all contribute.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
I was waiting for McClung, especially with his SP eligibility. But it looks like the Rays are riding the hot hand right now, which makes sense given their situation. I didn't know about Orvella though, he looks like he'll be useful too eh. I guess they're waiting till they're forced into making moves again..
