Longoria was probably the BEST bat in the draft. Hard to pass over that, but Andrew Miller would have been a nice pick. Detroit got ANOTHER potential stud. They know what they're doing.
He is defiantly starting to get my attention. I think the real test will be how he does in AA, whenever that is ... possibly next year. He is in a pretty good hitters league and park, but I like what I see. Even though I'd still rather have a pitcher.
Longroria looking nice in Class A advanced. I hope they call him up to AA mongomery before the end of the season.
Though I said it was nearly impossible, he may not give them much of a choice. He is exceeding everyone's expectations. He could earn a September call-up, too.

It's unlikely. But he's moved so fast, that rather then send him home when the minor league season ends, they may call him up to see how he responds.
The only way this has a shot of happening is if he's called up to AA and he tears it up there.
