Since June 25, when Derrek Lee was activated from the disabled list, Pierre is hitting .447 (17-for-38) with two doubles, two triples and one homer, and has scored four runs, the Cubs' Web Site reports. It was only a matter of time before the hits started to drop in for Pierre.

Add his 3 RBIs today and he's ending the 1st half on a tear - think this a sign of things to come post ASB?

Im loving him picked him up about a month and a half ago after someone gave up on him.

I got him in a trade a few weeks ago and I am very happy about. I'm expecting a big second half, lots of hits.
