2-3 today with a 2-R HR and RBI single...his 2nd HR on the week, hopefully this is a sign we can expect a good 2nd half from him (if I recall last year, he really started turning it up in the 2nd half).

His last years split stats were:

R HR RBI AVG
39 15 56 .283 (pre All-Star)
34 13 61 .289 (post All-Star)

He's going to be hard pressed to meet those overall totals this year.

I'll take 13 HR and 61 RBI in the 2nd half...don't really care about his 1st half...he was on my DL for 6 weeks of it.

i dont know.. this guys been very inconsistent since coming back from injury.. hes really pissed me off..

hopefully he can do something to start producing on a regular bases

I hear ya. Had him on the bench today for his homer , but that's cuz I started Figgins who stole 2 bags .
