Adrian Gonzalez.

The Mark Grace comparison is pretty poor and null at this point seeing as Gonzalez has 13 homeruns half-way through the season while Grace's career high is 16.

It also doesn't hurt that the Padres play six more road games than home games in the second half of the season and that Klesko's return is still on the far horizon.

Scott Hatteberg also has a ridiculous BB/K ratio going; I think his playing time will stay pretty good and he should post some decent 2nd half WW numbers.

Mike Jacobs.

Got off to a cold start. Now he's got his avg in a respectable range with decent power numbers on top of that. He's in a good lineup so he'll drive in his share of runs.

While I wouldn't call the Marlins a 'good lineup' as A2J did, the Marlins have the best record in the entire NL since May 21.

Did I, in any way, indicate that they didn't? Or was I simply making a point that they've been red hot since mid-May? That's right, I forgot who I was talking to. Don't worry -- the whole world doesn't think you're a useless pain in the butt; just most of it. ;-D

Jacobs seems to lose a lot of at bats to wes helms or gets extra days off, maybe when lefties start
