Nice of the Cubs to provide such advanced notice that another one of their starters was hurting. We suppose they need every slight advantage they can get as they try to stay ahead of the Pirates for the NL's worst record. Glendon Rusch is starting in Prior's place on Sunday. Jul. 9 - 1:22 pm et

Wow it's been an eventful 5 minutes. Prior misses a start and Patterson leaves after 1 inning. Just when things were starting to look better for my fantasy team.

I heard on Chicago radio this afternoon that Prior felt a little funny on saturday but didn't say anything about it. He decided to get a good night's sleep and see how it felt. He woke up sunday and felt great. Then later in the day he sneezed and injured his oblique!!

It's like when sammy sosa went on the DL after a sneeze. This guy and this team are ridicoulous.

The story was from ESPN1000.
