depends on the extend of the tear. if its just 10-20% rest and rehab is a legit option. if you go the non-surgical route the worst thing that can happen is the pain persists and you go ahead and have the surgery. if its over ~30% he should probably get the surgery, which would still be no lock to fix the problem.

Get the surgery so u can be 100% for next year whoever he plays for.

Kerry Wood? 100%? That's pretty funny.

He's done this year and I hope he's done for his career.

I'm certainly not happy with all the injuries and unlived-up-to hype, but that's a bit much to be hoping for his career to be over.
