OF C. Patterson
OF K. Griffey Jr.
Util R. Zimmerman
BN J. Varitek
BN N. Johnson
BN D. Uggla
BN Mi. Cabrera

First, Aramis should bee on your bench, and Miggy should be at 3B.

Next, Varitek should be catching.

Uggla and Roberts are both solid 3B, and I'd be happy starting either of them.

I disagree...I think you should slide Cabrera to OF instead of Griffey. I think Aram will have a stronger 2nd half than Griffey. You have a lot of room to make deals, because all the guys on your bench should be starting somewhere. I'm assuming you could use some pitching help. I'd try to package a decent pitcher with one of your good hitters (Johnson, Uggla, Varitek/Napoli, Griffey, Ramirez) for a better pitcher. You won't lose any offense since you can't play those guys anyway.

Ya, I did what Sherwood suggested in one league...moved Miggy C to OF and put Blalock at 3B...I would start Varitek, Roberts(he has been solid of late), Aram and Miggy C

varitek has been very disappointing in his avg, obp,slg but still has 9 hrs and 40 rbis and is due for a strong 2nd half start him. there is NO way that you shoul dhave miguel cabrera on your bench as he is an absolute stud and one of the top 10 to 15 offensive players in the league at this point. dan uggla had a very nice first half but i doubt that he will keep up at the pace he is going. i recently traded him for tadahito iguchi and dave bush, as bush is a very underrated starter who gets great K's and will calm his era i believe.
