the Shamrock/Ortiz stoppage was garbage. The Arlovski/Silvia bout was the most vaginal i have seen in a long long long time.

I agree. Ken Shamrock really can take a beating and based on his history should have been able to hang in there a little longer. Herb Dean did react very fast, but Ken was not defending himself at that point. In his defense I don't think Shamrock was making it off the ground there. I would have been nice to see a KO by Tito just to see this rivalry finished.

Silvia and Arlovski wasn't great. They were both being really cautious for 25 LONG minutes.

How about that Joe Stevenson fight? He was nasty at 155 and put on one of the bloodiest battles I have seen in a while. I had fun watching the two Josh's fight too.

Overall not a great PPV by any means. :-t

true, but the blood wasn't all that meaningful, though it did look really badass. my favorite 'bloody' fight was definitely UFC 9 Frye v. Bitetti

You are right. The cut was just gushing, but it didn't have too much of an impact.

Off the top of my head I am not sure if I have seen that UFC 9 match. I will have to check it out.

very soon in the first and it was nothing. shamrock got right up after the fight was called. was barely hurt at all.
