Post All-Star break starters?

Postby taw856 » Sun Jul 09, 2006 12:56 am

Does anyone know where I can reliably find the rotations teams plan to use coming out of the break? (I'm in a weekly H2H-league and it's driving me nuts trying to figure out who will or won't be starting the weekend after the All-Star break and who I need to bench for this scoring period because they aren't starting again until Monday or Tuesday.)

Many teams haven't yet determined how they will work their rotations post All-Star break. But, MLB.com seems to be doing a good job of staying up to date as teams set their rotations.

CBS is way off. I've seen like 3 different probables for the week, so good luck trying to figure it out. I started Escobar and he won't pitch until July 18, so I'm a man down now. :-P Too bad managers don't announce their rotations earlier. :-t

It'd be nice if weekly H2H leagues could cope with the AS break. It wouldn't be rocket science to program the site to accept lineup changes up to Wednesday midnight that week only. It's not like we don't know when the break is going to happen.

Never thought of that. I wish Yahoo would do that. I mean there is no reason why they shouldn't. There is too much uncertainty on Sunday night to be able to select your lineup for the week.

Thanks for the help guys. (And boo for the lineup deadline.) I ended up just going with relievers and the guys I have on teams playing 4-game series this weekend, I figure that lowers the chances I get a pure zero out of anyone, even if I get burned by leaving someone on the bench.

The fun continues though, as I'm keeping my eye out on the race for the 2-start pitchers for next week as soon as we start to realize who the heck they're going to be. :-b
