yahoo owners: whats the rule on picking up players you waive

if a guy drops a player, whos is then placed on waviers, can he pick him back up whenever he wants?

or do normal waiver rules apply? does the person who dropped him fall to the back of the line?

eg. person A is in 6th spot of the waiver line, i am in 8th...person A drops a player, who i want to pick up. can he pick up his own dropped player before me since he has a better waiver number or are there different rules about players you dropped yourself?

does this make sense at all?

you can't pick up a player you drop into waivers until he comes out of them without getting claimed. Believe me, I've tried a couple of times

I dropped Howry last week, but a couple of days later, I decided I wanted him back. So, I tried to put in a waiver claim, but received an error message from Yahoo saying that I had to wait to get the player until after he CLEARED waivers. I'm assuming this is the same for all leagues.

So, to answer your question: If you're trying to pick up a player off of waivers that you dropped, you can't use a waiver claim no matter what your priority is (10 or 1). You must wait until the player completely clears waivers (in my league, this setting was set for 3 days).

ok good...so basically you fall to last in line when trying to pick up your own dropped player?

since i put a request in for a dropped player, he cannot get picked back up by his original team even though that guy has a better waiver line number than i do, correct?
