I, too, think Hall would be the wise choice simply for the number of positions he could play. He and Nomar would give Garner a lot of options.

Not that it matters all that much, but I was always curious...do players who are All Stars but then need to miss the game due to an injury get credited with being an All Star for that given year? Just curious when it comes down to HOF voting, etc. :-?

For what it's worth, Jose pinch ran in the 1st game and actually tried to steal a base on a pitch that ended up being a foul ball.
