Considering my all time favorite player, Don Mattingly has the record for most grand slams in a season (6), I really hope he takes a month off or so.
This guy is clutch like a five speed. I honestly think he will do it.
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today
If that's OK
And I can go on, and on, and on...
But who cares?

Will he go down as the greatest player with the greatest season not to make the AS game?

Wow. You would think all these people were Hafner's agent or getting part of an incentive clause for an AS appearance or something. Why would anyone care whether any particular player is or isn't on the AS team? A meaningless exhibition game of virtually no value. Oh yeah right...everyone is deeply interested in who gets the extra home game in the WS. I mean I would worry deeply about that.

It just seems like the principle of the whole thing. The intergrity of the All-Star game as a whole has lost all of its credit with me. Liriano should have been chosen, simple as that. Hafner is one of the premier hitters in the majors. Just very sad...there are always All-Star snubs in every sport. However, I don't think its been quite as magnified as this year. Maybe b/c its Ozzie Guillen. I don't know.

It kind of defines... "most underrated player in the game".
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

Hitting a salami is hard to do. I can easily see him not hitting another one for the rest of the year.
However, I probably would have said the same thing after he hit number 4, so I don't know. He's got a hell of a shot at it though.
