How does this 1st-place team look?

I'm in an 8-team 5x5 h2h keeper league. This is year 2/3. I currently have a record of 87-43, which is tops in the league. What area can I improve on to help me advance deep within the playoffs? Any advice?

Hard to tell in an 8 team league because all the teams usually look pretty good. What categories are your weakest so far overall? Obviously you should look to address those.

perhaps consider trading one of your RP's or SP along with an OFer for a better OF if there are offensive holes you want to fill. Considering selling high on kearns or matthews.

If you're in first place, you probably want to adhere to 'If it's not broke, dont fix it', unless you have a lot of teams nipping at your heals. Don't make any major deals that would cause you to lose a major cog in your lineup.

You have an excellent IF, but your OF is suspect. You've got four solid closers currently, but beyond Carpenter and Harden (DL), your SP has holes. Verlander and Capuano are solid SPs, but I worry about them long-term given the lack of a long track record. Things to consider doing include

1) trading one of your closers and an OF for an upgrade (Sizemore, C Lee for example)

2) trading one of your closers and either Verlander or Capuano for one more stud SP to round things out. You may want to target Peavy, who's been underproducing, or if you're really willing to take a risk, Sheets.
