Derek Lee...

Postby madstork43 » Thu Jul 06, 2006 4:52 pm

Is it time to plug Derek Lee into the everyday fantasy starting lineups yet?

He seems to have shaken off the rust from the injury...

Right now i have Tori Hunter and Brian Giles platooning for the utility spot that Lee could potential take...

thanks for the input...

none of you guys have an opinion on this? Is D. Lee fully ready to compete and put up numbers like he is accustomed to...?

I've had him in the lineup since the game he came back. He's also been hitting close to .400 in his last 5. Depending on your lineup, I'd start him last week. ;-D

I figured everyone would have the same answer but you should have been playing him already.....I sat him the first game back only and that's because i just wanted to make sure that he was ok after playing a game....put him back in teh lineup...the only thing he's missing right now is his power...but he'll get that back.

I sat him a game as well and then plugged him in there. I need all the help I can get though.
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today

If that's OK

And I can go on, and on, and on...

But who cares?

I'll echo what was said above: He was in my lineup the day he came back (maybe the day after). I also dropped B. Giles around the same time. I wonder if he hadn't hit 40+ HRs in the past if he would still be owned at the rate he currently is.

.272 with 6 HR? Brian Giles really sucks from a fantasy standpoint.

Got Juice?

Same for me. He sat his first game back while I cleared out a roster spot to take him off of the DL, but he has been in my lineup for every game since.
