These are in 4 different leagues:
Picked up liriano off FA and dropped him a week before he began to start.
Dropped raul ibanez about a month into the season.
Dropping alex rios a month into the season.
Drafting chad orvella in the 15th round of a 12 teamer.
Dropping chris young.
Dropping bedard.
Drafting roger clemens in the 6th round of yahoo winners league.

Drafted Varitek in the 10th round when Thome and Schilling were still on the board (they went with the next two picks) !+) !+) !+)

Didn't pick up Papelbon because I felt I was set at closer with Lidge, Nathan, and Mike Gonzalez :~( :~( :~(

This is a GREAT 'therapy thread' ;-D ;-D ;-D

1. Drafted Beltre in the 12th round. Then dropped him after three weeks and someone else picked him up when he began his current mini-tear.

2. Auto-drafted Jh. Peralta in the seventh round because my computer crashed on me in the middle of the draft. Not necessarily my fault, but I should have set up my auto-draft list properly.

I traded J. Rollins, Zito, and B. Giles for Sheffield, Davis, and Furcal. A week later Sheffield goes down the 1st time around.

Heard all the raves about Liriano during pre-season
Picked him up to stash on bench after not drafted
Figured i had a diamond in the rough
Felt really good about my self and knowledge
Waited patiently early season KNOWING he'd get chance
Grabbed hot player of FA and dropped Liraino
RIGHT BEFORE HE BECAME STARTER!

i'm gonna pretend that was a joke. There are thousands of owners who didn't pick up or dropped liriano or papelbon, or whatever, i mean there must be one for every league pretty much. I am definately one of them but i'm not going to talk about that because its redundant. Anyway my worst trade this year was trading Dunn for Randy J. RJ has looked a little better recently so maybe he will make me not feel so stupid. Also i trade Otsuka for Hamels because i was 100% sure that Cordero would soon be closing in Texas...

Traded Wright for Sheff and Prior.
Drafted in my keeper Valverde and Doug Davis, when, in hindsight, I could have drafted Thome, Youkilis, Corey Patterson, Wang, Chris Ray, and others were available and taken in the next 30 players.
Drafted in my keeper Livan Hernandez over Jose Contreras.

i think we can all learn a little thing called Patience.. Especially with guys like Liriano and Verlander... And sometimes trades don't always turn out the way they planned (especially if you traded for a guy coming of the DL)
