Your offense is decent, I'd get Helton and Young back in the lineup. Your pending trade for Young is garbage, you can get more for him then that. You do need to make a move for a stud SP. I'd shop Helton or Kent for one.

o.k. i messaged the guy i'm in trading with...is it going to be a matter of pitching or wait-and-see as far as moving out of last place?

I would say Bonderman is a stud sp. he's top ten in every cat if not top 5 in the AL. Top 20 in all of his major stats in the majors(ERA is coming down with each and every start) but you could be better than McCarthy.

i just got proposed a trade that sounds suspect: my BJ Ryan and Adruw Jones for his Bobby Jenks and a "player of your choice"...which in his slim pickings roster would probably be David Wright at 3B to replace my Inge or Hillenbrand...or potentially John Garland at SP (although that would almost be a grotesque amount of White Sox). thoughts?

also, if this is considered an "off-topic" post, i apologize.

ok am i reading this right?...you just got a 'trade proposal' from another guy that said your Ryan and Druw Jones for Jenks and a player of your choice, which includes David Wright? am i reading that correct? is this a keeper league or a one year league? i mean that doesn't look like that bad of a trade, gives you one of the young and promising hitters in the game

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

it's a just a one-year league.

and yes that's the proposal, Jones and Ryan for Jenks and my choice, which could be Wright (although i haven't yet counter-proposed Jenks and Wright...he did say i had my pick).
