out of all of the guys in Major League Baseball, which two would you want to have on your fantasy team for speed, power, average pitching and relief pitching (closers)?

I'll start...

Speed - I have two of them on my squad already, Jose Reyes and Carl Crawford... no disrespect to Corey Patterson or Ichiro Suzuki but these two guys are tearing it up!

Power - Travis Hafner and Manny Ramirez - I was gonna put Thome but really he distributes in spurts here and there, with these two guys, its constant...

Average - Gonna go non-superstar status right here and say for my first choice, easily its Atkins from the Colorado Rockies... whenever I see his name come across, you always see 3-4, hr, 3 rbi, 2-3... You RARELY see a 1-5 start from him! Another guy, hmmm.... at this point, I'll have to go with Mauer... there really isn't a second guy that stands out like Atkins in my mind... so there you go two average guys LOL

Pitching? Easily #1... Johan Santana and Francisco Liriano... these two are an unbeatable Duo! Twins batters are bringing their A game... as are the pitchers! ;-D

Closers? Papelbon and Jenks... they are stellar in save opportunities...

Who are YOUR picks??? ;-D

Speed- I agree with Jose Reyes and Carl Crawford. These two are having huge seasons and are way ahead of the other speed guys.

Power: David Ortiz and Albert Pujols: Both of these guys are pretty much locks for 40 homers every season. These two guys aren't streaky, they will put up their numbers consistently.

Average: Joe Mauer and Ichiro. Both of these guys are amazing. Mauer has been hitting in the 380-390 range the whole season. Ichiro is an obvious choice because of his unbelievable ability to make contact with the ball.

Pitching: Johan Santana and Roy Halladay. When these two are on, they are unstoppable. Liriano may become a top starter soon but I dont think he is up to Johan and Halladay's level just yet. Carpenter and Peavy are also very close to this elite level.

Relief Pitching: Mariono Rivera and B.J. Ryan- You know what your getting with Mo. Every year he is a top closer. Ryan has shown that he is part of the elite group of closers by having an outstanding year this year.

Power - Pujols and A-Rod. Both 40 HR guys, that works for me.
Average - Pujols and A-Rod. Both very capable .300+ hitters.
Speed - Pujols and A-Rod. I'm punting speed for more power.
Pitching - Pedro and Clemens
Relief - Wagner and K-Rod
