Under 100 pitches... Fast game, nearly all 3 up 3 down innings.

Very fast game. Unbelievable. I think I will let him sit on the WW a little longer though. I'm not sold on the lack of K's.

You think he'll be there if you wait it out another start?

He actually threw a 95 mph pitch, which got hit...

It was mostly topping out at 91, but he was hitting his spots, changing speeds and locations... The two semer had good movement in to the righties. He was using that all night to hit the corners.

THis ump was definitely a pitchers ump which helped since Bartolo was trying to nibble the corners anyway, but he was friendly to the Mariner's pitchers too. It almost seemed like the Ump had to be somewhere later that night.

And he also had an ERA over 5 the year before. I don't trust him.

That year was a hiccup. He's no Santana, but he's still too good to be sitting on anyone's waiver wire, especially with the Angels picking it up.
