"The Greatest Yankees Teams"-who took this jacket cover pic?

Does anyone know who the photographer is that took this picture? I've been trying to locate a copy of this picture - I know its from the Yankees/Devil Rays Tokyo game - but I cannot find in the AP, Newsday or other sites, the exact photo. The publisher was unresponsive to my emails, and the one photographer that was listed in the book (Bernie Nunez) that did respond to my request said it wasn't his and he didn't know who took it
