Johnny Damon: leaves game with oblique injury

No word yet on the degree of the injury. Oblique problems can be time consuming though, as Pujols, Lowry and Lugo have found out this year.

Johnny Damon expects to miss Thursday's game after leaving with a sore abdominal muscle tonight.
It was first reported as an oblique injury, but Damon said that wasn't right. He first felt a pain during pregame batting practice, and then while taking a swing in the on-deck circle before his first at-bat. "At first I thought it could be a small, little hernia," he said. Nice update although hopefully he's wrong and it is not a small hernia.
