Jul 5 Ken Rosenthal, of FOXSports.com, reports the Arizona Diamondbacks could be looking to trade OF Shawn Green, IF Craig Counsell and SP Miguel Batista in an effort to get some younger players playing time. OF Carlos Quentin has played well at Double-A Tucson, he currently has a .415 on-base percentage, and the Diamondbacks could bring him up to give him some experience at the major league level. The same goes for SS Stephen Drew, who could replace SS Craig Counsell, who is batting just .198 since Thursday, June 1. Batista is a pitcher that many teams feel could be a potent set-up man, as he has closed in the past for the Toronto Blue Jays.
