I'm sitting with Soriano in the wings on 4 teams and Freddy has another strong outing.......I'm sick of it!!

I feel you pain. I've been sitting on him all year. At least it is a keeper league with 10 bench players. I sat on Johan Santana and it paid off. I'm sitting on Juan Cruz waiting for a trade or injury.
Garcia may still implode and if he doesn't, Franklin has been lit up the last 2 times, and I don't think they would be as patient with Franklin as they would with Garcia.

Garcias a young veteran, and its the stretch run. I dont see him imploding. Even if he does struggle, they want him in there. I dont see Soriano starting this year. Hes way better off in pen, because he doesnt have enough pitches, he cant face hitters 2 and 3 times in a game. Hes imo, like Gagne. A stud in pen, a average sp in rotation. Soriano is looking like a future stud closer more and more.

I couldn't agree more! Soriano got roughed up last year when he had a couple of spot starts. While its true that his control is better this year, he's still a two-trick pony... its just that one of those tricks is a helluva fastball. Did you see him strike out Nomar on three pitches - all fastballs - yesterday? It was as Bostonians would say "wicked awesome"
