I too have teixiera, this bum, and add randy Johnson and Bartolo colon to that list and I'm making a run at first right now....imagine if they actually started playing well?

Yup, definitely have to agree...I do have to add I also have Bartolo Colon AND Mark Mulder (my top two pitchers)...amazing how bad luck just hits everywhere...

Seriously, if those are your 2 top pitchers, either you're in a really big league or you drafted a lot of quality offensive hitters. I wouldn't call Colon a top pitcher nor would I have drafted him just because he won the Cy Young last year.

Tex is the only one I'd be pissed at. Ensberg isn't that great and is really streaky and as for Randy Johnson, it could be he's just old.

I agree. It's irritating when he sits but his numbers this year, bearing in mind he's had about 100 less ABs than others, indicate he's doing OK. He has 36 R (projected to 54 if he'd been in full time) and 43 RBI (projected to 65 RBI full time). To get these R and RBI from one player is good in anyone's language.

I was able to win my league last year by trading RJ and Dontrelle for Rivera, Jones, and Cordero to help me build points in the SV category. My keepers as a result (8 max) were Texeira, Kent, Ensberg, Crawford, Ichiro, A. Jones, Tejada, and M. Rivera. I was one of two new teams in my league last year and the other new team basically went pitcher crazy so I ended up with this crew of hitters...
