Pitching has always been good, their hitting and D has improved suddenly. They're threatening to at a minimum take a series IN SEATTLE and they way their hitting they could sweep, then on to Oakland for 4. This is a good team that's getting cocky suddenly and putting it together.
Yea well when you protect Vlad with the likes of Anderson and Salmon and need to have Juan Rivera hitting to carry your offense, you have some problems. They need to add a top bat in the worst way.
agreed... they've got the prospects to get one though... They've got a rook catcher Napoli who looks like he might be top catcher in the league real soon. He's got serious power.
I am hearing rumors A. Huff will be an angels or tigers. I cant wait until the A's play the angels. Will see what will happen, Oakland hasnt been doing so well because of swisher's and chavez slump slash injuries, plus bradley's continued missing bat. But they just took 2 and could possibly sweep the tigers which have the best record in the Majors. With Chavez coming back and Thomas continuing hitting good, and harden and bradley coming back really soon. Nothing personnally against you Angels fans but the west is to be taken by the A's. Last time the A's and Angels played, the a's swept the angels in two games(not really considered a sweep because it was only 2 games) but we'll see. peace out(marlon wayans)
Vladdy is starting to heat up. He's been mashing the ball lately.
With their solid rotation and lights out back end of the pen, the Angels will win games as long as Vlad carries the offense. I don't see them winning enough to earn a division title though. Still, it should be a fun race to watch.
I think Napoli and Morales are going to surprise people in the 2nd half... and Juan Rivera is a notorious first half dud 2nd half star. They steal need another OF to let GA DH though.

If they can't win the division title, they won't make it into the playoffs. really, who sees any team beating the Chicago White Sox (as of now) for the Wildcard Spot.
