NO, NOT A-ROD, can't stand the guy. I'm much happier with Cedeno, Aram and jones than arod.

right, the Arod thing wasnt even that bad, but A. Jones for Brian Anderson + prospects, that's a pipe dream.

Arod isnt going anywhere, especially not for Aramis and Jacque Jones.

You can't have a firesale on a guy that has a big contract long term and who stinks pretty much anyway as is the case with Hudson.

Whoever thought this one up needs to put down the pipe.

The Yankees aren't dealing A-Rod, nor could/should they. He's one of the best players in the game, and in baseball history. A-Rod will be one of the centerpieces for the Yankee roster for a long time.

Plus, even if I were to entertain the ridiculous notion that the Yankees would be shopping him around, nobody would eat his contract. Plus, you couldn't get enough in return to make it worth it, unless you turned A-Rod into a top pitcher, like a Santana type.

Makes absolutely zero sense as an actual trade, even less sense when you consider the money swap, and the least sense when you consider the fact that the Yankees would not trade arguabley the best player in the game.

This is complete and utter bullsh*t.

The Yankees need hitting with Sheffield and Matsui out and thats what Alex brings.

They traded Soriano to get this guy; absolutely no chance they get something less for him in return.

He's one of the best players in baseball, he's still young and he's a future HOFer. No chance the Yankees trade him.

Yeah well if you turned the choker into a Halladay/Wells or a Santana/Hunter I would be the first to show the choker to the door. Arod's 15-16 M a year the Yanks are responsible for is not that out of line for a player of his caliber nor would it be that difficult to unload.

That said, no one is going to give the Yanks anything resembling that type of package. And ARod would likely never go along with it either as he would have to waive his no trade clause I believe. This is all smoke and nonsense.
