Yusmeiro Petit to start tomorrow

Petit was up earlier and used out of the bullpen.

He looked very good in his 1st 5 or 6 appearances averaging about a K/inn and walking only one guy in 8 innings. He then imploded vs. SF in a blowout game and was left in to give up 6 runs which would badly skew your numbers when you only pitch 10 innings overall.

Annibal Sanchez will start on Thursday and you get the feeling that the better of the two may earn a rotation spot.
