What does that have to do with current players? Ok, so those guys could do it without messing up their swings...so can a bunch of others. Other people do the HR Derby and their swing gets screwed up. That's like saying Blalock goes on 2nd half slumps so that must mean Huff will too. Those guys are unrelated and have different patterns.

I just don't think Abreu is much of a home run hitter anyway

He had 30 in '04 and 18 before the HR Derby last year. After he won the HR Derby he hit 6 the rest of the year, and 8 so far this year.

I want to see Giambi do it. Hasn't been a yankee in it for a while.

I wish Dye wasn't participating. He is already overachieving this year and I'd rather not suffer through a precipitous dropoff in the second half. :-t

I could see Utley doing well, he's got a sweet swing, and with a good bp pitcher he could hit a lot of home runs. (He won't hit any 500 foot bombs, but a home run is a home run. :-) )

Although, I hope he doesn't do it becuase I have him in a keeper along with David Wright, Carlos Lee, and Matt Holliday. :-o

I love to see Dunn he hits some boms.....
As they are in PIT it will be great for the homtown fans if Bay wins it.

Bay's not in it and won't be the PTBNL either.
