What does that have to do with current players? Ok, so those guys could do it without messing up their swings...so can a bunch of others. Other people do the HR Derby and their swing gets screwed up. That's like saying Blalock goes on 2nd half slumps so that must mean Huff will too. Those guys are unrelated and have different patterns.
I just don't think Abreu is much of a home run hitter anyway
He had 30 in '04 and 18 before the HR Derby last year. After he won the HR Derby he hit 6 the rest of the year, and 8 so far this year.
