.298, 22 HRs and 71 RBIs. Hard to believe he is the RBI leader on my team and even harder to believe that there are so few threads addressing him.

I think a lot of people aren't ready to swallow the Kool-aid on this kid, but as someone who lives in Rochester, NY and saw him in the Twins farm club here, this kid has mad skills that seem as though they are finally manifesting themselves on the big league level.

BTW, a ton of Twins are guys who played here; Mauer, Liriano, Crain, Cuddyer, Tiffee, Lew Ford, Kubel... great farm system and good to see a team who can be competitive without having to pick up too many guys from other teams.

Yankee fans, feel free to disagree...

Ya I live in Rochester and while I never got a chance to actually watch him play (sure enough I want to a game the day right after he got called up!) I read about him all the time, and heard a whole bunch of good things from guys around the ball park.

Kubel should also be pretty darn good, he was always doing something productive every night.

Right. It looks like the Twins will have their first 30 HR hitter since 1991. In that year the Twins had four 30 HR hitters, I wonder if anyone can name them...I'll give you the two easy ones.

Twins haven't had a 30hr guy since 87' acually.

I know Gaetti did but the other guy i didn't know was Tom Brunansky (curiosity & rime made me look it up).
