If he's avalible pick him up and enjoy the ride. Even if the Tigers do make a trade for a left handed hitter. thames will continue to get his at bats. Monroe has done nothing to get PT. Thames will also serve as DH since his defense isn't the greatest.

This is why, if he is available, that he should be picked up off the WW. He has shown that he is a consistent hitter, and has the ability to give a 2-3 homeruns a week when he is really on. I am so glad that I picked him up on the waivers, he is almost a guarantee!!

I added him to my keeper team on June 7th. I never have once regretted it.
Chris Iannetta was born on Krypton and transported to Earth as an infant and saves the universe when he's not getting on base every plate appearance.

I think hes been there only the last couple days...but from this production, I'm guessing he'll get some more time. He is leading the Tigers in HR now I think...should help out his RBI and R (if he now has Magglio batting after him). He is one of many WW gems this year.

just the last couple games I think...should help out his RBI and R totals (with Magglio behind him to drive him in).

It looks like Magglio and Pudge both had the day off. That's probably the reason for Thames's location in the lineup. Not a fact, but an educated guess.
