Will Alex Gordon get the call this year?

I want to grab this guy in my keeper league before others (no waivers because i could claim him right now and put him on my payroll, but I am in first and don't want to). Mainly I want to grab him just so i can control him a little bit, that way I can put him back in the draft by not keeping him (We get to keep 4 and i am having a hard time choosing 4 out of like 10 possible) and then just draft him relatively cheap next year.

Most likely will have to wait for a Sept. call up. The Royals organization said he would get some time in AAA before getting the call to the bigs.

As hybrid said, your best bet is a Sept. callup, but even that's not a guarantee.

I expect Gordon to get promoted to AAA after the Futures Game, and assuming all goes well he should be in KC at the start of next season.

i agree with this, the royals want to be careful with him, and also avoid his arbitration clcok as long as possible.
