Why is he ranked so low on Yahoo? Bad season last year, but he's back to playing like his old self...shouldn't he be top 20 again?

He's been on fire lately and looks fully healthy for the first time in a long time.

Any decent evidence for this, or is it really "just a feeling"?

I think he's ranked so low because of the number of guys that started very hot out of the gate. Rolen's ranked only around 60th in HR, 40th in RBI, and 30th in R despite the fact that he's stayed VERY consistent from month to month. I think that as players start to cool off, Rolen's rank will keep creeping up providing he stays on track. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was top 25 by the end of the year.

62 R, 29 2B, 14 HR, 62 RBI, .340 AVG, .992 OPS

That's how Rolen's numbers would look if he had started all of the 80 games, as opposed to only 68.

Rolen is David Wright minus some SBs, but he still gets no love. :,-(

What is the point of projecting his stats as if he didn't miss any games? Fact is he missed them and will miss more and that can't be ignored.

The guy's hitting .340 and his 12 homers are an underachievement. His numbers will pickup with Pujols back in the lineup and as his shoulder surgery gets further behind him. I think now's the time to buy on Rolen; assuming he stays healthy, he's got quite a few all star years left in him.
