No, he worked out a deal with the Cubs that allows him to play football with ND in the fall. I think he plans on trying to play both baseball and football professionally.

He gets a huge bonus ($7.6M) if he makes it to the Cubs so he has some incentive there to play baseball. I drafted him in the 2nd rd of my rookie draft just in case he chooses baseball because he has a lot of upside. Cubs scouts say they saw him pitch 99mph consistently in the playoffs, which is higher than the 95 in the regular season

He is going to get drafted in the first round of next years NFL draft. He will have a choice to make, honestly it is very hard to play both professionaly and be good at both. He is goingmto have to make a choice, just don't make the wrong one like henson did.
