Cafe should have a "No complaint" list

Postby noseeum » Sat Jul 01, 2006 2:40 pm

Seeing "what's wrong with Soriano, Santana, et al" type posts always makes me chuckle, as I think to myself, if that owner's biggest problem is an Alfonso Soriano mini slump, then I think he's doing OK.

In light of these posts, Cafe should have an "uncomplainables" list like Yahoo has undroppables. LOL.

Here's my first try at it:
WEBHAMSTER: "What's wrong with" posts are forbidden for the following players:
Pujols
Santana
Arod
Soriano
Manny
Prior (after all, what did you expect? ;-) )
Wood (ditto)

Who else should be on the no complaint list? [note: This is in no way bashing posters of said posts. I'm just having fun, so please don't take offense.]

I almost added him, but he's drifting dangerously close to complaint worthy. He's not on my squad, but it's been long enough already that I might start worrying in a few weeks if I had him!

No one should be complaint proof. Just think, Tex would have been a shoo-in for that list at the beginning of the year and Beltran for last year's list.

Don't strip people of their right to panic--there's always a chance that mini-slumps turn into lost seasons. That kind of terror is one of the things that makes fantasy baseball so exciting.

(By the way, I'm a little worried about Pujols lately.)

Just like Yahoo undroppables, it's not permanent and changes every week. So, for example, Vlad could be on the no complaint list right now, but after next week's re-evaluation, he could be dropped from the list.

Have it published every Monday!

In that case...David Wright and Jason Bay and Miguel Tejada and Miguel Cabrera and Travis Hafner.
