I Also Hate Matt Morris

Keeping with my substantive posts, I thought I'd also tell you that I hate Matt Morris.

Just in case you were unaware of it (especially you blessed Matty Mo owners out there), Morris sprained his ankle in a freak hotel accident today.

He will be out at least an additional two weeks.

Next year, I will not draft Matt Morris nor will I draft Jim Thome.

Because I don't, Morris will go 37-1 with a 0.86 ERA, and Thome will hit 75 dingers and knock in 220, and only strike out 37 times.

But if I decide to draft them, Morris will go 9-15 with a 5.43 ERA, and Thome will hit 21 dingers, and knock in 22, and strike out 500 times.

As you can see, I'm going with the positive feelings this evening. I figure, if it feels good, do it.

How many ballplayers have been hurt while walking this year? This is getting comical that ballplayers can't even walk anymore.

On a side note: If you don't draft Morris next year, let me know. 37-1 with a 0.86 era looks really good to me .
