The Pirates announced today that Bobby Hill was the player to be named later in the Lofton-Ramirez deal today.
In terms of fantasy, I think Hill will have to step in at 3B for the Pirates next year; Jose Hernandez won't be around, and the Pirates have no prospects at 3B whatsoever at higher than the AA level (and Jose Bautista, the only real 3B prospect in the organization, has been injured for a while now). Next year's Pirates infield will most likely be Humberto Cota, Craig Wilson, or J.R. House (who's out of options after this year) at catcher, Craig Wilson and/or Carlos Rivera at 1B, Freddy Sanchez at 2B, Jack Wilson at SS, and Bobby Hill at 3B, forming perhaps the most useless fantasy infield in the history of baseball. Ugh.
