Should be a useful pickup for those of us needing SBs:

The North County Times' John Maffei reports San Diego Padres OF Dave Roberts (knee) may be back before the All-Star break, with the team shooting for the holiday for his comeback. "We're shooting for July 4, but I can answer that question better this weekend," Padres manager Bruce Bochy said. "Dave has passed all the tests, but he hasn't sprinted yet. We need to see him do that. With the All-Star break coming up (July 10) we could push him back if he's not ready."

I need to gain ground in SB in my roto league, and plan to utilize a platoon of Roberts and Gathright to do so.

If he's available, I'd go with Lofton over Gathright... Lofton can hit and get some rbis along the way. Gathright is pretty one-dimensional, steals and that's it.

i picked him up as well. traded felipe lopez, still lead in steals but it's narrowing.

anyone with an idea if he's going to be put back in leadoff? cameron's been pretty decent there as of late. I'd think it'd be roberts, cameron, giles, etc.
