Climbing the Standings: First Year Head-2-Head Keeper League

This is my first season playing H2H style fantasy baseball. It's a 12 Team, 6X6 (Hits and Losses) league with 6 keepers each year. Let me know what I should work on. Here's my team:

C - J. Varitek
1B - A. Pujols
2B - J. Vidro
3B - C. Jones
SS - J. Reyes
IF - H. Ramirez
OF - V. Wells, G. Sizemore, A. Dunn
Util - R. Baldelli, JD Drew
BN - J. Francoeur, R. Zimmerman, Del. Young

SP - Kazmir, Sheets(DL), J Patterson, Wang, E Santana, Olsen
RP - Street, Turnbow, Coffey, K Ray, Julio, Accardo (Picked him up for some extra saves; I normally go with another starter.)

Recent transactions:
June 12th: Traded C. Zambrano for G. Sizemore
June 13th: Traded J. Verlander/F. Sanchez for J. Patterson/H. Ramirez
June 24th: Picked up C. Jones with Waiver priority

Keepers as of now:
A. Pujols, J. Reyes, V. Wells, G. Sizemore, A. Dunn, S. Kazmir

your team looks pretty good but i would look into upgrading hanley ramirez and your starting pitching.

Looks good so far.

I would fist get a true no.1 starter, scond I would get a little more power up the middle. I would go after a power hitting second baseman.

Solid #1 SP should be first priority. Kazmir if s good, but I think you hurt yourself giving Verlander and Sanchez.

Only concern for your team as said would be starting pitching after trading away Zambrano

I just traded E. Santana and JD Drew for C. Carpenter. Hopefully he should solidify my rotation with Kazmir and possible a healthy Sheets.

This gives me 7 keepers for six spots: Pujols, Reyes, Wells, Dunn, Sizemore, Kazmir, and Carpenter. Who's the odd man out?

Do you think I should try to upgrade one of these guys to a Bay/Beltran/Crawford type of player?

Tough luck on a couple trades.... You could use some of those players.

A 2B would be help. Vidro will slide as year goes on IMO. Some pitching would also be useful.
