Any fans out there?

I saw them for the 8th time a few weeks ago in Jersey. Great show. Always a great show.

The new album is very good, their best album in quite a while. Definitely worth a look. I'm also looking forward to Story Tellers on VH1 this Saturday.

Anyone else a big fan?

Not a a huge fan, but as a 90s kid, I remember listening to a lot of PJ when I was in middle school.

Haven't checked out their new album yet, although I've heard it's pretty good.

That seems to be the sentiment for a lot of people. Vitalogy is probably my favorite but No Code is right up there for me. I wasn't a huge fan when it first came out but in recent years I've begun to dig it more and more. An underrated album now, that didn't go over well with people at the time it came out. Kind of like Black Crowes' Amorica.

I think a big thing was that their sound changed after Vitalogy, to a softer more folky kind of sound. I think they lost some of their mainstream appeal, but they still kept their die hard fans through and through.

I'm on the same boat here. PJ is not quite my cup of tea anymore, now that I'm a full-fledged heavy metal fan. ;-D

I'm trying to find a list of songs that VH2 compiled called the "Indie 500."
