I read a follow up on that entire thing not too long ago. I dont thinki he ever came in contact with the girl. However there was tons of replies. Freaks sending naked pictures though the mail and over the internet to the Phillies organization etc.......

The best one was at a Phillies game. Some big fat hairy guy showed up early in drag holding up a sign that said " Hey Wolf, I'm the girl from the subway ". Rand Wolf saw the guy and could do nothing except laugh at the situation.
