LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has been fined after biting a security guard on the leg.
It happened in Stockholm on Monday night (28.06.06) when the rocker went on a drink-fuelled bender after performing in the Swedish Capital.
A police spokesman confirmed Rose - who had to be held in a cell for hours until he was sober enough to be questioned - was released after pleading guilty to "violent conduct and criminal damage" and agreeing to pay a fine of 40,000 crowns ($5,460) and 10,000 crowns in compensation to the security guard.
Rose - best known for worldwide hits 'Paradise City' and 'November Rain' - was also accused of causing minor damage to the interior of the hotel where he was staying.
Meanwhile, Slash has rubbished reports he is considering rejoining Guns N' Roses.
Rumours have been rife the guitarist was planning on ending his feud with Rose and joining the band again, but he has revealed he has no intention of returning to his past.
He said: "I don't know where the rumours come from, but I haven't dealt with Guns N' Roses any more now than I have in the last 10 years."

Slash is in Scott Weiland's new band now. I don't think he can stand Axl anymore.
Yeah the rumor of him coming back was dismissed a few months ago. Not sure why it was included in this article. Needless to say I really wish I can see them together again in my lifetime. I wasn't exactly old enough to remember the first time.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Velvet Revolver
I saw them live they rocked and played some GNR and STP songs
They have a couple songs that were pretty good. I'm a pretty big Weiland fan. If you haven't checked out his solo album 12 Bar Blues, you need to do that. It's pretty good.
Not sure if I should post this or not, but what the hell.
Here you can find some of the songs expected to be on Chinese Democracy, and some other ones that probably won't but are still new.
If you check it out, The Blues (live 2002) and There Was A Time (extended demo) are 2 good ballads, while Better (demo), and IRS (demo) are 2 of their good hard rockers.
And here I thought Axl had turned over a new leaf when he didn't fight Tommy Hilfiger (or whoever it was about a month ago) when the guy kept slapping him in the arm.
